David Cousins - Chief Executive Officer
Former Head Teacher of an outstanding Bucks CE primary school, a senior school improvement adviser and manager for Bucks CC and a lead and team school inspector.
David has experience as the Director of Schools for the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust where he oversaw its growth from 5 to 30 schools, becoming the fastest growing MAT in the country. He has now transferred to leading the Diocesan MAT in the Buckingham episcopal area, as the CEO of ODBST. He is once again working with the education community in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes to improve outcomes for children and young people and to develop a strong MAT for church and non-church schools.
Rachael Holinshead - Chief Operations Officer
Rachael joined the team in February 2019, with 26 years of primary education experience, 9 of those in a leadership role.
Eileen Northey - School Effectiveness Partner
Eileen has worked for a number of years as a School Effectiveness Partner with a considerable number of schools in a range of local authorities and across the Oxford Diocese. She continues to assess for the National Professional Qualification for aspiring head teachers and middle and senior leaders. Eileen also has recent experience of being an Ofsted inspector.
Ruth Falkus - Chief Financial Officer
Deborah Stainer - Governance Services Officer
Deborah joins the team from the Diocese of Truro. She brings with her a background in education, and has just achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Governance.
Emily Gatis - Trust Administrator
Emily joined the ODBST team from McGraw-Hill Education.
She has a 10 year back ground in customer services and administration.
She is the first point of contact for the Trust.
Alison Haynes - Finance Officer
A CIMA qualified finance professional with over 20 years’ experience of accounting for various organisations, 5 years of which was gained within a Multi-Academy Trust.
Sarah Rowe - HR Manager
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and is a qualified member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Her HR experience spans across a number of different industries, both public and private sector, and includes running her own business to support small and medium sized businesses on all HR matters. Prior to joining ODBST Sarah provided HR support to schools within the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust and previously worked for East Riding of Yorkshire Council providing HR support to schools across the region.
