About Us
The Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust is a family of schools is a family of schools across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, comprising of both primary and secondary, Church of England and community schools. Each school retains its own distinct identity and character.
What we share is a covenant: that every child, family, colleague and governor within this Trust will know they belong here and have a voice in shaping what we are becoming.
Our promise is rooted in Jesus' words: "life in all it's fullness". For families of faith and those without, we understand this in the same way:a childhood, a career, and a community life tat is full, generous, and dignified.
Schools join us, and stay with us, because of what we do for one another. A teacher in one of our schools is one short conversation away from a colleague doing similar work in another. A new head joins a community of heads who already know what their first term will be like. A governor at one of our schools is part of a wider conversation about what makes Christian education distinctive. None of this is automatic; we work at it deliberately.
Headteachers in the Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust own the things that matter most; curriculum, pedagogy, school identity and the relationships that make each school feel like itself. The Trust removes unnecessary burdens so leaders can focus on what matters most for children and learning.
Hub partners in HR, operations and finance work alongside schools as named colleagues, not distant services. Across the Trust, cross-school CPD pairs, subject and phase networks, leadership shadowing, and a shared ECT cohort ensure that no member of staff is more than one conversation away from a peer in another school doing similar work.
This is what we mean when we say we belong together.
