. The programme aims to develop and support future leaders in our schools within the context of a multi-academy trust community. We recognise that attractive, development opportunities to explore the ideas of leadership in a school are rare – particularly prior to taking on responsibility.

It is a great chance to meet with other leaders, develop professional links and skills and add to your experiences in advance of any steps into leadership you may take next.

Who is it for? Teachers in leadership roles in their teaching career.

When does it happen? At sessions across the year which run from 1400 – 1600

Where does it take place? At ODBST schools to extend leaders’ knowledge of different types of schools.

What is the programme? Sessions are built around key aspects in developing your leadership career and may include: Coaching for Leadership; Managing people – difficult conversations; Reporting and accountability; Next steps; Finance; Governance.

Why should I do this? The programme offers the chance for personal development within a supportive academy trust community and partnership with colleague ‘aspirant’ leaders.
