HR Officer

Hours:                 Part time (22.2 hours per week)


Location:            Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire


Salary:                 £25,000  - £27,000 pro-rata, dependant on experience

The Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust is a dynamic and rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust of schools across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes; about to take on our eleventh academy with an exciting programme of growth. We were formed as part of the commitment by the Diocese of Oxford to excellent education for schools and are attractive to both church and non-church schools.

We are seeking a proactive HR Officer to provide HR support to member and applicant schools and develop systems/administrative procedures to ensure the efficient day to day running of schools and the wider Multi Academy Trust.

You will be responsible for delivering excellent HR support through high quality advice and administration.

You will need to be able to:

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to generate solutions
  • Show strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
  • Develop clear HR templates and procedures
  • Demonstrate your professional, sensitive and confidential approach to work.

You must be experienced in providing HR advice and administrative HR support and have an up to date knowledge of UK employment law.  You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be qualified to CIPD level 3 or equivalent.

This is a permanent position working term time only, plus 2 weeks.  The successful candidate will have a degree of flexibility in selecting their working pattern. 

Based in Stoke Mandeville, you will need to be able to travel across Buckinghamshire including Milton Keynes.
