About the role:

The Learning Support Assistant role is to support the education of individuals and groups of children so that learning is matched to meet their needs. It is one that accommodates, yet challenges, their ability. As a Learning Support Assistant you will primarily support the needs of a specific, named child, under the direction of the class teacher and Inclusion Manager, however, this role can offer flexibility in working with a range of children. About you:

Maths, English and communication skills are essential to this role. Although previous classroom experience is not essential, experience of working with children or leading child-based activities is preferred. We are looking for someone who has a positive outlook and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, keeping children at the forefront at all times. See person specification.
