Pride of Buckinghamshire Award Honours St Mary’s Community Impact

St Mary’s Primary School was honoured to receive the School or College Community Award at the Pride of Buckinghamshire Awards.
This recognition celebrates the outstanding work St Mary's School do to support their young carers, and they are incredibly proud that this important aspect of our school community has been recognised in such a special way.
A significant part of this success is down to the dedication and compassion of Miss Culliton. She works tirelessly to ensure that pupils with caring responsibilities at home have a safe and nurturing space within school, where they feel recognised, supported and truly valued beyond their day-to-day roles. Her commitment makes a meaningful difference to the lives of these children.
Rooted in the school values of respect, resilience and integrity, their young carers’ group enables pupils to connect with others who share similar experiences. It empowers them to build confidence, develop a sense of belonging and make a positive contribution to their community.
We are extremely proud of all the pupils involved and grateful to Miss Culliton for her exceptional work. Thank you, as always, to everyone involved for your continued support in helping the school create such a caring and inclusive school environment.
